1/20/2009- The Start of a New Semester
- Spring Rush officially starts January 28, 2009 - February 8, 2009. Information regarding rush will be posted on the rush page soon. Come out and meet the brothers of ATO.
-Events Page & Semester Officers have been updated for Spring 2009
-ALUMNI: ATO's Second Annual Alumni Golf tournament is in the planning stages. If any alumni would like to participate, please refer to the alumni page for contact information.

12/11/08- End of Fall Semester
- Recapping Fall semester, so many new and exciting events occurred. -Alpha Tau Omega had a very successful rush and is happy to congratulate 16 new brothers of the pledge class Delta Beta to our fraternity. We look forward to experiencing the contribution these new brothers will present to our fraternity.
-We also had a great philanthropy this semester and an exciting alumni weekend. We look forward to continuing the philanthropy and to another exciting alumni weekend in the Spring.
-In addition, executive positions for the year of 2009 were elected. We hope for a successful Spring semester and wish the best for the brothers during their finals week of Fall semester.

10/12/08- October News
- Fall rush was a great success this semester. There were many new faces, and interested rushes. We wish them the best through their pledging experience.

-OX-ATO-BERFEST!
ATO is teaming up with the brothers of Theta Chi to kick off the inaugural OX-ATO-BERFEST (pronounced ox-a-tober-fest). This philanthropy will benefits "Hokies for the Homeless." Please refer to our Philanthropy page for further information.

9/1/08- Start of a New Year
- Coming into the second week of school, the brothers of Alpha Tau Omega are ready for yet another exciting year and successful Fall rush. New semester officers were elected and are updated on the officer's page. If you need to contact any of these semester officers they are now current. In addition, the rush page has been updated with events the brotherhood will be hosting this fall.

4/13/08- The Beginning of an End...
- As pledging comes to an end, the brotherhood of 5 new brothers has begun. Congratulations to the Delta Alpha pledge class on their initiation.

-"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end"
As we initiate new brothers into our fraternity, we also congratulate 8 graduating brothers of Alpha Tau Omega, Brother Sturges Wheeler, Brother Preston Peterson, Brother Michael Fitzgerald, Brother Nick Schaub, Brother Cooper Liebau, Brother Abdul Jaroudi, and Brother Jon Fox, we wish you all the best of luck in the future.

-The month of March and April were busy months for Alpha Tau Omega. In conjunction with Blacksburg Parks and Recreation, ATO threw an Easter Egg hunt for the children of Blacksburg. The event was very successful with a great turn out and many kids very happy. In addition, ATO participated in Virginia Tech's Big Event. During the event, Brothers of ATO helped paint cabinets, shelves, doors, and much more for a preschool in need. With the end of the Big Event, Viking Week also ended. Congratulations to Brother Paul Alsmyer's team for winning Viking Week. Furthermore, ATO participated in the philanthropies of several sororities, including the DZ Classic and ZTA Yacht Club. We are excited to announce that ATO placed first in ZTA's Yacht Club philanthropy, dominating field games, attendance, and amount of money donated per brother.

2/11/08- Rush Comes to an end...
- As rush comes to an end, looking back it has been a successful past couple of weeks with many rushes coming out, having a good time, and seeing what ATO is about. In addition, closed rush was a success with many of the rushes attending and showing interest. We hope for a successful bid acceptance day on Wednesday. Congratulations on those who received bids!

1/23/08- New Forum Board!
- New forum board has been made. Rushes, Brothers, Pledges, Ladies of ATO, and everyone else can use the board. (Link is on the left navigation bar)

1/22/08- Greek 101!
- Tuesday, January 29, 2008, Greek 101 will be held in Owens Banquet Hall from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Come out to look at what Greek Life has to offer. Don't forget to stop at the ATO booth to meet brothers and get information! Also, RUSH SCHEDULE HAS BEEN POSTED! Check Rush Page to view events!
